Community Safety Message- Graffiti and Arson Prevention |
||
|
Dear Residents,
We would like to make residents aware of concerns relating to graffiti and deliberate fires that are being set within the Townhill and Mayhill area. Graffiti and arson cause damage to property, create fear within the community and can pose serious risk to life and safety. Deliberate fires, even when small can cause serious damage and spread extremely quickly and can have serious consequences.
We ask residents to help prevent these issues by: ✔Reporting graffiti or suspicious behaviour promptly ✔Ensuring rubbish, wheelie bins and flammable items are stored securely and away from buildings ✔Keeping garages, sheds locked and secure ✔Supervising children and young people- making them aware of the dangers of setting fires ✔Reporting any concerns about anti-social behaviour
If you see suspicious activity or believe a fire is being started, please call 999 immediately. For non-urgent concerns, reports can be made via 101 or online.
Thank you for your continued co-operation and supporting in keeping Townhill and Mayhill community safe! | ||
